This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale. It was sold as a theft/stolen recovered vehicle. By law such vehicles are salvaged if not recovered within certain number of days (normally around 30 days). It was most likely stolen for a joy ride and later recovered after the previous owner was paid off by the insurance company.
